he is uncomfortable with situations that make him feel he is less than a god. he is especially susceptible to such situations. he doesn't want to discuss why.

he is too proud to die.
harry is in between life and death. it is like a dream-state, only not as pleasant.
his situation is chronic.
but don't you dare bring it up with him.
he would do something to you, but he is too proud.
